"I Love You, Ate..."

Another normal afternoon of a normal week. After a long pouring rain, it was finally silent at a usually crowded park. It was very silent, the only thing you hear leaves of trees because of the wind It seems as if the apocalypse has finally happened.

Until a light laugh from somewhere in the park can be heard. It gets louder and louder, until a little girl wearing a yellow dress under a gray jacket wearing pink rain boots and umbrella appeared.

She seemed excited even if the park has no other kids to play with. She started squealing when she saw the swing and she was all by herself, no other kids running to the swing. she finally dropped her umbrella and ran straight to the unoccupied swing.  She then stumbled upon a puddle. Her small boots getting wet. You would think she will start crying because she stopped laughing and stopped moving. She was just standing there looking at the puddle. The park was once again engulfed by silence. Only hearing the wind whistling. After a few seconds of silence, she slowly smiled and jumped up and down while giggling. She seemed to be amazed by the thought of her feet not getting wet because of her boots.

She finally got tired and walked slowly to the swing. She began swinging and swinging, laughing every time she gets higher and higher. She seemed to not see the problems of the world. But who could blame her, she is just a little girl after all.

After a few minutes of swinging. A faint call of a teenage girl can be heard. The little girl quickly went down the swing, went to the puddle one last time and jumped once and then picked up her pink umbrella. The little girl with the yellow dress and gray jacket ran straight to the teenage girl. The teen was wearing a yellow blouse and gray pants and then picked up the little girl. The teen spun the little girl around and they started laughing. The teen with brown locks put her down and sat down to her size.

"Did you have fun?" the teen asked

    "Yes!" the little one answered.

The little girl hugged the teen and whispered,
    "I love you Ate..."

The teen was shocked. Why you may ask, because for the fact that they were not close, they would usually bicker all the time. The teen hugged her back tightly and answered,
    "I love you too Bunso..."
