I Missed You

The sun finally rising, the birds flying and chirping. The cool breeze of a Saturday morning through the atmosphere.

A girl inside a warm house sleeping peacefully. Her brown locks cascading down her face. Her plump lips apart creating a small "o" shape. Her sleep was immediately  disturbed by the ringing of her alarm. She shut it off and did her usual prayer. She took a few more minutes in bed just to scroll through her twitter and instagram. She finally stood up and went to the kitchen.

She then started to heat water and setting up a cup of coffee. She finished putting her hair in a high ponytail when the kettle whistled, she poured herself a cup of hot water and stirred her coffee. While drinking the hot liquid she was scrolling through her news feed in facebook.

After what feels like hours, she finally finished her coffee and washed the cup and went upstairs. The girl untied her hair and took her towel and finally took a shower.

After taking her usual morning  shower while having a concert, she went straight to her room and picked out her outfit for the whole day. She decided on a stripe shirt and black leggings. She ran downstairs while picking her high cut white converse. She put on her shoes on the stairs when she realized she left her phone upstairs and she immediately went upstairs to take it. She took her phone and charger and went to their house office and opened their family laptop and logged in her social media accounts and checked her blog. She decided to do her assignments that morning too which was unusual for her.

Finally her mom went down downstairs and greeted her a "Good Morning" and made them breakfast. They ate together while chatting about the usual things. After a few more topics, she excused herself and went to the office to shut off the laptop.

After fixing everything, she packed her things and said goodbye to both her mom and dad who were already chatting. She went out and drove her car that was given to her for her birthday. She usually drive around and end up at the nearest book store but today was different and she felt it. So she ended up at the park. She sat down at a bench, not doing anything, just sitting there thinking and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

She just sat there. Time passed by and it was almost lunch already. She walked to her car and left. She was driving around, here and there. And no, she is not wasting any gas. Yes, she can stay at home and spend time with her family like what she used to do but she didn't . These past few saturdays and sundays she was just OUT. Not knowing where to go, no specific destination, just out. And as the usual Saturdays and Sundays go, she was stuck in traffic. The digital clock finally struck 12:00, she reached for her bag and took out her packed lunch made by her mom earlier. She started eating and opened her phone and snapped a picture and posted it on instagram.

She then finished her lunch with barely moving because of traffic. Then her phone dinged and it was a text. While reading it, she had a wholehearted smile and took a turn. After a few turns and stops, she finally arrived at her destination. Before going out, she checked her reflection. She did still look presentable, with her natural brown locks cascaded down her shoulders, her brown eyes and red lips. She then picked up her bag and went out.

Still walking to the place she was greeted by smiles and, "hi" and "hello"'s from everyone. Finally she heard a faint call. She turned around and saw a little girl wearing a vibrant red dress and white socks. She bent down and immediately hugged tight. The little girl couldn't stop laughing but she whispered ,

"Come on! He is waiting for you.."

She picked up the little one and ran as fast as she could. The little girl then pointed to a boy wearing a white shirt and jeans. She then put down the little girl and ran towards the boy. The boy naturally wrapped his arms around her and spun her around.

   "I missed you..."

    The girl smiled and answered,

   "I did to KUYA...."

Finally, something different happened after her Christmas break. Her favorite cousin or should she call him as KUYA (kuya is older brother) came home.
